Qualification
- JD preferred with a legal background and experience in drafting and reviewing complex contracts.
- Experience in biotech/pharma or technology startups with a focus on handling complex deals.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of driving transactions to completion.
Responsibility
- Cultivate, manage, and advance partnership deals, leading negotiations and translating business models into actionable deal structures.
- Create and manage 'deal maps' to outline partnership paths and key decision points.
- Oversee the full contracting workflow, including drafting, redlining, and coordinating with external counsel to ensure smooth deal progression.
- Define and maintain the intellectual property strategy supporting partnerships.
- Manage contracts beyond partnerships, including CRO agreements and data-generation partners.
