The company is seeking an Accountant to join their Accounting team in Barcelona, focusing on the month-end closing process for Polish entities. The role involves ensuring compliance with Group Accounting Policies and applicable reporting standards while collaborating with various finance teams to manage financial processes and prepare reports.
Qualification
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Experience with financial reporting and month-end closing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Polish and English, both written and spoken.
Responsibility
- Lead and complete the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain paperwork for the monthly accruals as required as a part of the monthly financial reporting process.
- Maintain the company's accounting books according to the statutory regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports for management.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Review income statements and balance sheets.
