- Experience with financial audits and working with external auditors
- Familiarity with local tax regulations in African countries
Responsibility
- Supervise the month-end closing process of the African legal entities
- Ensure accurate and timely Management Financial Statements and Reports
- Lead a team of ~8 accountants from the African markets
- Ensure the financial Audits are submitted on time and collaborate with external auditors during financial audits
- Conduct analysis to explain performance versus the Business Plan
- Supervise monthly reconciliations for both P&L and BS
- Work closely with local, Regional, and HQ finance teams to propose and implement process enhancements
