Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Revenue Deal Manager to join their Revenue Performance Organization within Finance. This role involves providing support and advice on customer contracts and revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards while optimizing revenue and profits. The position requires collaboration across various teams and the management of a team of Revenue Performance associates.
Qualification
- Ability to work well with and influence various levels and functions within the organization.
- Industry knowledge of IFRS15 and IFRS16 standards.
- Experience in revenue recognition and accounting practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
Responsibility
- Provide advice and support to Sales and Finance organizations on contract negotiations.
- Translate complex commercial, accounting, and revenue recognition issues during deal negotiations.
- Ensure deals are structured in accordance with Hitachi Vantara Revenue Recognition policies and IFRS standards.
- Develop and manage a team of Revenue Performance associates to maintain revenue and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, Services, Finance, Treasury, and Tax.
- Review, document, and account for revenue transactions correctly.
- Influence and implement changes in all areas of revenue recognition.
