The Financial Controller role involves providing professional finance services to corporate and country managers, ensuring timely and accurate financial information and compliance with taxation authorities. The position requires maintaining accounting records, implementing internal controls, and managing a finance team in the Middle East region.
Qualification
- Proven experience in financial management and accounting practices.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance and regulations in the UAE and KSA.
- Experience in managing and training finance teams.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibility
- Maintain accounting records for the Middle East branches in accordance with the Company’s code of practice.
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures regarding all finance related matters within the UAE and KSA Offices.
- Follow up with respective managers on the monthly results providing them with any assistance required in understanding the results.
- Provide timely information to the Tax advisors to address compliance issues.
- Minimize duplication of effort and achieve savings while maintaining the validity of information produced.
- Manage, train, and motivate team members directly reporting to you.
- Oversee day to day accounting processes including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll ensuring accuracy of transactions.
- Generate monthly and annual internal/management financial statements.
