Pylon is seeking a Head of Finance to build and scale the financial infrastructure of the company as it grows from $10M to $100M ARR. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-growth startups and a strong understanding of finance, with a focus on RevOps. This role involves strategic partnership with leadership, financial modeling, and leveraging modern finance tools.
Qualification
- 5-10 years of experience in finance, with experience scaling a company from $10M to $100M ARR.
- System builder mindset, comfortable using modern finance tools.
- RevOps-oriented finance experience, with knowledge of CAC and unit economics.
- Ability to build financial models and analyze financial spikes.
- Early career experience in investment banking or private equity, plus startup experience.
- Deep understanding of business operations and financial statements.
Responsibility
- Be the expert in finance, challenging decisions and adding rigor to planning.
- Work closely with GTM as a RevOps-leaning Head of Finance to maintain and accelerate growth.
- Analyze data to extract insights for evidence-based decision making.
- Build the entire finance function from scratch, including accounting and FP&A.
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership, evaluating headcount and sales targets.
- Leverage modern finance tools to scale operations efficiently.
- Own planning and forecasting for 2026+, building scenarios for revenue and burn.
