The Sales Manager role involves leading client acquisition strategies, managing the sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth while working in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the payments space.
- Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A team player mentality with the ability to work independently toward lofty goals.
- Excellent organisational skills, including prioritisation, scheduling, and time management.
- A coachable, self-motivated, curious, and resilient mindset.
Responsibility
- Determining needs, building value, and gaining acceptance of Verto's solutions with new clients.
- Prospecting, identifying, and generating new opportunities via cold calling, email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Managing the sales pipeline through all sequential stages of the sales process: initial outreach, product demo, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Taking a consultative approach with the management team while navigating multiple decision-makers.
- Consistently exceeding monthly sales quotas and collaborating with the Account Management function to upsell and cross-sell products.
